Welcome to the Tristen Fest Web page. Tristen Fest is a music and family event held at the Small Country Campground in Louisa County Virginia. It is in Memory of our Son Tristen Lee Roach ( Porky ) who passed away on May 18, 2010 at our home in a trampoline accident. This horrible tragedy hit our entire family so hard. Tristen was so caring for everyone else and was eager to help other people. He loved helping his Mom more than anything in the world, she was # 1 in his eyes. We wanted to keep Tristens memory alive and well so we came up with the idea of doing a music festival and donating all the proceeds to St. Jude Research Hospital in his name. Tristen would want it this way because he is still helping people. We decided on a music festival because whenever his Dad's band ( Country Poor Bluegrass Band ) would play he would always be there to cheer them on. We will have several bands , food , drinks, activities for the kids and many items up for auction or to be raffled off. We look forward to the 3rd Tristen Fest to be a great success.
